Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility which is meant to deal with substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab takes part in a number of rehab services and techniques in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days a week, depending on the severity of the problem.
