Rescue - Halfway House
A halfway house, sometimes called a recovery house or sober living facility, is a facility which permits an individual who is recovering from addiction to reside in an environment which will help them re-enter the real world as an abstinent person who wants to lead a healthy and productive life. Immediately after drug treatment, it is often necessary for people to reside in a halfway house where they can partake in more counseling and therapy services while at the same time obtaining a job and housing so that they can have everything in their life set up for success and sobriety. A halfway house is sometimes the key to reduce the threat of falling back into drug use, and offers people in Rescue who are recovering from addiction the chance to make a real life for themselves.
